What is real

There are two versions of real which comes out from the visuals...one which can be physically felt and other which is the natural world. In everyday scenario, natural and man made comes under the term "real", where as the idea in the video terms them as dual worlds.

In terms of technology, I think there is a growing need to be closer to human way of doing activities, thus the book reading devices which turn the pages virtually imitating the way one would really turn the pages and so on. There is a growing need to humanizing technology and technological devices.

Technological interventions in education should be seen at that level only, they are just tools. We had different tools earlier, where as with the new developments the tools have changed. Education is for knowledge, which empowers a community and society towards growth and development. It changes the profile of a country and its position at the global level. It is one of the main tools through which the individualistic ideas can be realized  thus the objective of education is very real, and thus the reality in education should be the goal.

Personification of objects is one aspect of product or form which makes them live in our life beyond their life. They acquire a character of their own with respect to the context of the user. Its interesting to see how we relate to different products and the value which we attach to them, sometimes almost giving them life. 

E Learning and Digital Culture

After watching " Bendito Machine III" I remembered one change, which came in the households of my neighborhood after televisions. Before televisions, the living-room used to have one central table and the chairs used to be around it. After televisions, every chair and table used to face the television. The whole set up and later on the design of living room changed. That changed the interactions among the family members as well. Now, in most of the apartments, architects leave one wall bare, so that the television can be propped on the same. Its interesting to see something as inconsequential as a television to become so important in such a short time period.
